The media campaign of ProSucesso/Azores for Education - Integrated Plan for the Promotion of School Success started today in several institutional communication channels and social networks.
According to the Regional Directorate for Education, this media campaign aims to "involve and mobilise the whole school community, especially youngsters and families toward the achievement of ProSucesso goals."
The initiative, which stresses the importance of school as a training space, involves the participation of Azorean youngsters who "give their personal account of what school has given them throughout the process of personal growth, the construction of their life project and the discovery of their path."
The campaign is available on YouTube, the institutional channel of the Government - the Regional Directorate for Education (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez3vtPnxGlE) and in the social networks Facebook (https: //www.facebook .com / ProSucesso2015DRE) and Instagram (https://instagram.com/prosucessoazores/) with hashtag.
The Government's decision to create and implement ProSucesso from the school year 2015/2016 is related to the fact that, despite the strong investment in education in the Region in recent decades, the levels of school failure and early dropout remain too high.
In addition to including measures already implemented in the academic year 2014/2015, the Plan defines priority areas and intervention strategies to not only achieve the goals set for education and training under Azores 2020 Operational Programme, but also to ensure the effective promotion of school success.
