Avelino Meneses debates promotion of school success with the president of the National Council of Education
The Regional Secretary for Education and Culture, Avelino Meneses, met today with the President of the National Council of Education, David Justino, with whom he discussed several topics related to the promotion of school success.
"The meeting addressed the matters that generate more concern among education officials at a regional and national level. The main concern is focused on the discovery and study of procedures that contribute to the improvement of school success," said Avelino Meneses.
However, the Regional Secretary stressed that school success "will be only achieved with the commitment of students, the motivation of teachers and the collaboration of families."
"Although its powers are only advisory in nature, the dialogue with the National Council of Education is fundamental, given its broad social representation, its high degree of independence and its importance role in the achievement of a consensus."
The meeting with the President of the National Council of Education was also justified, taking into consideration that this body's "mission is to propose measures that ensure a continued adequacy of the education system to the expectations of citizens," stressed the Regional Secretary for Education and Culture.
