According to two orders issued by the Regional Secretary for Education and Culture published in the Official Journal, the Government of the Azores will grant five training and artistic creation scholarships in 2015.

The application period for a training scholarship in Plastic Arts and another in Audiovisual and Multimedia for the academic year 2015/2016 will run from June 1 to July 31.

In turn, the application period for three artistic creation scholarships in the Plastic Arts, Audiovisual and Multimedia and Music categories will run in August.

These scholarships will be granted under the regional legislation approved in mid-2014 by the Legislative Assembly. It establishes the legal framework to support cultural activities, whose regulation entered into force in the end of January this year.
