The 2013 application for the submission of applications for the allocation of support to hold scientific meetings in the Azores under the Pro-Scientia programme is taking place until June 28.

This support measure, as announced by the Regional Secretary for Education, Science and Culture at the opening of the Conference "Science in the Azores - Which Future?," comprises symposia, seminars, conferences as well as other formal events primarily directed at the scientific community.

The Pro-Scientia programme aims to disseminate research results, the debate and sharing of knowledge, the establishment of contact between experts from different scientific institutions and regions, the establishment of new scientific partnerships and the projections of the Autonomous Region of the Azores in the European Research Space.

The application period runs until June 28; applications should be made through the online submission of the application form available on the website http://idia.azores.gov.pt/. Those who are interested may also consult the opening notice on the website.
