Dionísio de Sousa, former President of the Legislative Assembly and scholar of the life and work of Daniel de Sá, delivers an Open Lecture on this Azorean writer next Thursday, April 21.
Held under the Regional Reading Plan, this initiative will take place at Vitorino Nemésio Secondary School in Praia da Vitória at 10 AM.
Dionísio de Sousa is the author the work titled “Daniel de Sá – a serena sabedoria” (Daniel de Sá - the serene wisdom). His lecture will address the writing and thoughts about literature, politics and Autonomy of this Azorean author, a native of the village of Maia who died in May 2013.
During the meeting, which aims to present his book among school audiences and the public in general, there will be a space for conversation and sharing of readings about Daniel de Sá, an author included in the Regional Reading Plan who was also the president of its Regional Commission.
