Regional Government allocates 58 thousand Euros to support international participation of Azorean teams in table tennis and volleyball competitions
The Government of the Azores will allocate an amount over 58 thousand Euros to support the participation of the sports groups of Juncal Social Centre and Salão Recreativo dos Toledos, Fonte do Bastardo Youth Association and Kairós Club in international competitions.
According to the Resolution published in the Official Journal, the support is aimed at the participation in international Table Tennis and Volleyball competitions.
The Resolution took into account the sports development programmes for international competitions during the sports season 2017/2018. They were presented by Juncal Social Centre Sports Group and Salão Recreativo dos Toledos Sports Group for the participation in ETTU Cup. Moreover, the Fonte do Bastardo Youth Association and Kairós Club presented their programmes for participation in CEV Volleyball Challenge.
The Juncal Social Centre Sports Club received the amount of 17,961.71 Euros for participation in the 1st and 2nd stage of the ETTU Cup - European Table Tennis Union in Men's Seniors and for participation in the 1st and 2nd stage of ETTU Cup - European Table Tennis Union in Women's Seniors.
The Salão Recreativo dos Toledos Sports Groups was allocated the amount of 14,288.40 Euros for participation in the 1st stage of the ETTU Cup - European Table Tennis Union in Men's Senior and for participation in the 1st stage of the ETTU Cup - European Table Tennis Union.
The Fonte do Bastardo Youth Association receives the amount of 15,796.03 Euros for participation in the 1/16 finals of CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup Men, while the Kairós Club was granted the amount of 10,624.89 Euros for participation in the 1/16 finals of CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup Women.
