The Regional Government, in partnership with Oceano Azul Foundation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, promotes a public session for the presentation of the Business Fast Track Programme - "Blue Bio Value" taking place today in Lagoa. The initiative aims to attract and promote the development of business opportunities in the marine biological resources value chain.
The workshop will address marine biotechnology and the development of sustainable products or services with positive impact on ocean preservation.
The "Blue Bio Value" falls within the "Blue Azores" programme, which is mainly focused on the conservation and sustainable use of marine resources. Developed by the Regional Government in close collaboration with the Oceano Azul Foundation and the Waitt Foundation & Institute, this initiative also involves various local, national and international partners and entities.
The workshop will take place this afternoon at the Science and Technology Park, starting at 5 PM.
