Regional Government stipulates conditions for São Miguel Football Championship Final
The Regional Government, through the Regional Directorate for Health and the Regional Directorate for Sport, has defined the conditions for the organisation of the São Miguel Football Championship Final, an event that has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among the agreed recommendations, which must be observed by the Ponta Delgada Football Association, there will be two SARS-CoV-2 screening tests to be carried out on athletes, technical teams and referees in a 14-day interval, and only after this period will the game take place.
Moreover, the public will not be allowed to watch the game and the movement of people will be limited and conditioned outside and in the vicinity of the field where the game will take place, so as to ensure the safety and protection of public health.
