"Entrepreneurship projects are fundamental to the growth of the Azores," said Luís Cabral
The Regional Secretary for Health stressed in Vila Franca do Campo, "the importance of the programmes created to support entrepreneurship and the business sector in order to boost the dynamics, growth and development of the Azores."
Luís Cabral spoke on behalf of the President of the Government at the opening of Vila Franca do Campo Polyclinic, highlighting the importance of such programmes in the health sector for the accomplishment of this goal.
"At the time of great difficulties, the Regional Government has made a difference by creating regional-based policies that allowed Azoreans to continue facing the future with determination and optimism. In this regard, the Government launched various incentive programmes so that citizens, within different professional fields, may be able to implement their projects," said the Regional Secretary.
Bearing in mind that the Regional Government is the "manager of these programmes," using the funds made provided by all Azoreans, Luís Cabral stressed that the Government has every interest in the "the success of these projects and their contribution to the improvement, innovation and development of our archipelago as well as to the creation of jobs and the increase of supply to the population. "
The Regional Secretary for Health also stressed that "these investments can help us to overcome this difficult moment and build a better future," encouraging Azoreans citizens to "launch their projects as well as to develop and create a better Region."
The project for the Vila Franca do Campo Polyclinic applied to the Youth Entrepreneurship programme and represented a total investment of 300 thousand Euros, of which 65 percent was subsidised by the Regional Government.
