The period for the submission of applications to Lease Incentives, launched by the Government of the Azores under the "Families with Future" programme, is running until September 15.

Those who are interested may fill in the forms and submit their applications at the address http://drh-servicos.azores.gov.pt/. Applications may also go the services of the Regional Directorate for Housing or to the offices of the Integrated Citizen Support Network (RIAC) for further information and submit applications.

Under this programme, the Government of the Azores currently supports more than 1,100 families, a monthly public investment over 200 thousand Euros.

The amount of support can reach 70% of the maximum amount of authorised lease in accordance with the socio-economic characteristics of each family.

Under this program, the Regional Government has increased the support for rented property on the so-called "Cohesion islands" as well as for single-parent families, families with children and families disabled members.

With this measure, the Government of the Azores will contribute to the improvement of the housing conditions of Azorean families and their disposable income.
