Azores Institute for Social Development with over 23 thousand attendances in 2012
Following the news broadcast on Antena 1 Açores 8:30 AM newscast concerning the telephone answering service of the Azores Institute for Social Development (IDSA), the Regional Secretariat for Labour and Social Solidarity clarifies that the IDSA Call Centre registered a total of 23,745 attendances via email, direct social security and telephone until July 2012.
A total of 23,196 attendances received a direct response and the remaining 549 were referred to other departments for obtaining a response.
In the same period of time, the IDSA registered a total of 23,731 Front Office attendances (direct contact with the public) and 14 Back Office attendances.
It is also important to mention that the IDSA call centre services are rendered by 4 workers. In the months of July and August, the summer holiday period, the service is operated by an average of 2 workers.
