The Government of the Azores will subsidise the renewal and adaptation works of the elderly home of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia in the village Santa Cruz da Graciosa; the total amount being of 903,207.75 Euros.
Under a cooperation-investment agreement signed between the Regional Secretariat for Labour and Social Solidarity and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia da Vila de Santa Cruz da Graciosa, the governmental support will be divided by 2010 (37,643.77 Euros) and 2011 (865,563.98 Euros).
The agreement, published in the Official Journal on Friday, also requires that entity to carry out the renewal and adaptation works of the elderly home until the last quarter of 2011.
For payment purposes of the amount allocated in the agreement, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia da Vila de Santa Cruz da Graciosa authorises the Regional Directorate for Solidarity and Social Security to consult the information on the Social Security contribution status.
