Meeting marks 10th anniversary of the Integrated Support Network for Women at Risk
The Regional Secretariat for Social Solidarity, through the Regional Directorate for Social Solidarity and the Azores Social Security Institute, promotes the meeting "10 Years - Paths in Networking" on November 25 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Integrated Support Network for Women at Risk.
The meeting to be held at the auditorium of the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory aims to make a retrospective of the challenges that have risen during the 10-year existence of the Network and, through a multidisciplinary sharing, highlight the contributions from various partners.
Created with the aim of promoting the social inclusion of women at physical, psychological and social risk, the Integrated Support Network for Women at Risk aims to provide a concerted response between public and private entities working in the area of gender equality and equal opportunities.
In addition to sharing experiences, the meeting's programme includes the signing of agreements with 23 institutions for the provision of new responses and the adaptation of partner entities to the most recent issues in the area of domestic violence and women at risk.
