The Government of the Azores, with the purpose of avoiding unnecessary travel to services and privileging other forms of contact available to any citizen, informs that, according to the guidelines of the Press Release from the Council of the Government of March 16, the provision of face-to-face Social Security services will be allowed under certain circumstances:
1. Only the following services will remain in operation:
Terceira Island - Angra do Heroísmo and Praia da Vitória;
S. Jorge Island - Velas and Calheta;
Graciosa Island - Santa Cruz;
Faial Island - Horta;
Pico Island - Madalena, S. Roque and Lajes;
S. Miguel Island - Ponta Delgada, Ribeira Grande, Lagoa, Vila Franca do Campo, Povoação and Nordeste;
Santa Maria Island - Vila do Porto;
Flores Island - Santa Cruz;
Corvo Island - Vila do Corvo.
Face-to-face services will be available from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm for matters strictly necessary in the processing of social benefits, the submission of documentation in the case of applications for Prenatal, Children and Youth Family Allowances, Parental Allowances, Social Integration Benefits, Unemployment Benefits, Pensions as well as payments resulting from the implementation of temporary measures during this emergency period.
2. Priority will be given to previous scheduled appointments, which can be made by telephone 300 077 000 or directly at https://app.seg-social.pt/issa/plataforma for the following services:
- Prenatal, Children and Youth Family Allowance; Disability Benefits; COMPAMID; Supplement for Dependent Persons; Special Supplement for Cancer Patients; Regional Pension Supplement; Elderly Solidarity Supplement; Litigation; Taxpayers; Unemployment; Wage Guarantee Fund; Parental Benefits; Disability Pension; Social Pension; Old Age Pension; Bereavement Allowance and Orphan's Allowance; Legal Protection; Social Income Benefits; Disease Benefits: Executive Process.
3. Priority will also be given to non-face-to-face services - delivery of documentation in an envelope;
4. The number of people in the waiting rooms will be managed, which cannot exceed one third of the available seats.
The infection with COVID-19 poses new challenges for us all.
