The Regional Secretariat for Social Solidarity, through the Azores Social Security Institute, began today on the island of Pico a training course for technical and educational teams working at children and youth shelters on "Study Habits and Methods."
This training course will be held at Madre Maria Clara Shelter in Madalena. It aims to promote the acquisition of skills to support the study and schooling of children and young people living in shelters.
Similar training activities have been promoted since the beginning of October on Terceira, Faial and São Miguel.
