Government of the Azores launches contract work for the redevelopment of Regional Road no. 1-1 in Ribeira Grande

The Regional Government has recently launched the contract work for the redevelopment of the Regional Road no.1-1 between Largo do Rosário in the village of Matriz da Ribeira Grande and the access roundabout to "Centrovia IPO" in the village of Ribeira.

Covering an extension of 2.4 kilometres, this intervention represents an investment of 670 thousand Euros and is part of the works for the construction of the new drainage system, the repaving of the road surface and the definition of road surface markings.

The contract work, which is part of the Intervention actions on the Road Network of São Miguel Island, meets the needs to repair this section of the Regional Road no.1-1, thus ensuring the comfort and safety of all those who use this road.
