The recent changes in reference prices for petroleum products registered in international markets have led to the update of maximum sale prices of fuels in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
The maximum price of fuels in the Azores will remain significantly lower than the reference price of fuels in the national market.
In the context of his update, the Government will increase the maximum price of road diesel by two cents per litre, one cent per litre in coloured and marked diesel for agriculture and fisheries, and two cents per kilo of industrial fuel oil.
Road diesel will now cost 1.30 Euros per litre.
Agricultural diesel will cost 0.78 Euros per litre, while fishing diesel will cost 0.59 Euros per litre.
The price of industrial fuel oil is set at 0.60 Euros per kilo.
In the case of road diesel, the difference between the maximum price in force in the Azores and the price stipulated for Mainland Portugal is at 12%.
The prices for agricultural and fishing diesel will be 19% and 18% lower, respectively, compared with the national market.
The new prices come into force next Monday at 12 AM.
