Vítor Fraga highlights role of "Casas do Povo" in the resolution of problems affecting populations

Vítor Fraga spoke Thursday in the village of Capelas during a tribute paid to emigrant Duarte Câmara and the Group of Friends of Fall River. The government official stressed that "Casas do Povo" have "developed a permanent cooperation" with the State and with the local power, with the sole purpose of solving the problems affecting the population.
In the specific case of Capelas, the Regional Secretary stressed the full commitment of the Government in the construction of the new Free Time Occupation Centre.
"We want you to feel supported in all stages of your work, naturally with access to resources they need to develop," said the government official, He ensured the full commitment of the Regional Government to the construction of the new facilities of the Free Time Occupation Centre of 'Casa do Povo' of Capelas."
Regarding the tribute to emigrant Duarte Câmara, who has organised campaigns for the acquisition of equipment to support the elderly and bedridden, Vítor Fraga pointed out that "everyone, without exception, must contribute to what we can and know, always with the goal of doing good to others.”
