Tourist road maps will disseminate handicraft activities

The Regional Centre for Handicrafts (CRAA) is preparing, in collaboration with the São Miguel Tourism Delegation, a series of tourist road maps designed to disseminate the diversity of handicraft activities on the island of São Miguel.

These tourist road maps are intended to link production units and artisans to workshops, several pedestrian routes, tourist spots and even to rural tourism projects.

Under this project, the production units with certified products are awarded priority status. However, other units may be included in these tourist road maps due the issues related to logistics and thematic variety.

Official government press-releases presented in all foreign languages interfaces of the Azorean Government Portal (Portal do Governo dos Açores) are a sub-set of the government's official press-releases daily output and are chosen for translation and publication on the foreign language interfaces based on audience segmentation criteria.
