Degree in Psychology from the University of the Azores; Master's Degree in Educational Psychology - Community Contexts from the University of the Azores with a dissertation entitled “Assertiveness and Emotional Intelligence go hand in hand with Employability”; Member of the Portuguese Psychologists' Association, Professional Certificate no.21410.
Professional Experience
On June 15, 1990, she was hired on a fixed-term contract by the Technical Office of the then Regional Secretariat for Youth and Human Resources. The duties main duties assigned to her were within the manual and computer processing of the Autonomous Region Azores' Staff Plan.
On September 1, 1995, she undertook an internship and was admitted to the position of System Operator - category 2 at the Employment Financial Management Office. Her internship was held at the Technical Office of the Regional Secretariat for Youth, Employment, Trade, Industry and Energy, where she was transferred on January 1, 1996.
On June 15, 1998, she was promoted to the position of System Operator - category 1 at the Computer Centre of the Regional Secretariat for Education and Social Affairs - Regional Directorate for Youth, Employment and Vocational Training.
As of March 31, 2019, she held the position of Computer Technician - Category 3, Level 2 at the Regional Directorate for Employment and Vocational Training of the Vice-presidency of the Government, Employment and Competitiveness. Under her duties, she collaborated on projects and statistical series under the Employment and Vocational Training Observatory (OEFP) and other projects associated with the database of the Office of Strategy and Planning in the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security (GEP). Additionally, she cooperated in the production of Result Indicators regarding the PRO-EMPREGO measures, being also responsible for logistics, sample execution and creation of support materials for the Project Survey on Vocational Training Needs of Companies in 2020/2021.
Current position
Coordinator of the Employment and Vocational Training Observatory (Vice-Presidency of the Government, Employment and Business Competitiveness - Regional Directorate for Employment and Vocational Training).

She has participated in more than one hundred Specialty Courses, Colloquia, Conferences, Lectures, and Papers.
Commissions, Working Groups and other duties
She took part in the Technical Cooperation Mission of the Regional Government of the Azores that travelled to the Republic of Cape Verde in 2001 to carry out the computerisation of Employment Centres and the installation of programme for the registration of company staff.
Between 2010 and 2011, she was a member of several Seminar and Workshop Organising Commissions.
Between October 2013 and June 2014, she cooperated in the development and implementation of Psychosocial Group Programmes aimed at women, teenagers and young people that took place at Psychosocial Support and Monitoring Centres.
In 2016, she was responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of an innovative project of community interest with duration of one year, designated as Employment Psychological Support Office (GAPE), at the Agency for Employment and Qualification of Ponta Delgada. The intervention covered 455 users, totalling 679 individual and group sessions: individual consultations; long-term Personal Development training; Workshops on Personal and Professional Development and Motivational Lectures. Under this project, there were open sessions directed to the workers of the Regional Directorate for Employment and Vocational Training.
She was responsible for the development and implementation of a pilot project for social and emotional education, aimed at prisoners, which took place at the Ponta Delgada Prison Establishment between October and December 2016.
She is an author and promoter of Personal/Professional Development and Emotional Intelligence Programmes, with educational scope, as well as of short-term programmes held in workshops aimed at a diversified audience. She also speaks at public presentations.
