The Regional Secretary for Labour, Vocational Training and Consumer Protection and Secretary-General of the Eurodyssey programme, Rui Bettencourt, will preside over the 2011 Eurodyssey Forum to be held in Aosta, Italy, on Thursday and Friday.
The event, which annually brings together all programme coordinators, will be attended by the President of the Assembly of European Regions, Michèle Sabban, and the President of the Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta. This year’s forum will be organised under the theme: “European regions rally for the work and the future of young Europeans.”
For two days, more than 130 representatives of European Regions, companies and members of the European Commission and the Assembly of European Regions will discuss employment and professional mobility strategies to be included in the 2020 agenda, taking the example of the increasingly relevant role played by the Eurodyssey programme.
Rui Bettencourt will make the assessment of the programme and present the Activity Report as well as the strategies defined for Eurodyssey in 2012.
The Eurodyssey programme has been promoting the mobility of youngsters for 25 years, being the most emblematic professional mobility programme between European regions.
