The Regional Director for Employment and Vocational Training, Ilda Batista, will meet Friday with the youngsters from Nordeste who are taking part in the IdeiaJovem Azores project.
This youth entrepreneurship project involves six participants from the municipality of Nordeste in the search for viable and profitable business ideas.
For two months, the initiative will provide young participants with the opportunity of contacting with people in order to share with them ideas and realistic solutions. Participants are also required to point out the limitations that their business ideas will have to overcome.
In addition to the meeting that will be held at the premises of the municipal company Nordeste Ativo on Friday, there are other scheduled meetings with young entrepreneurs, economists and various entities linked to the agriculture and tourism sectors.
Young participants will also meet with the Regional Public Administration services, including the Regional Directorate for Support to the Investment and Competitiveness and the Regional Inspectorate of Economic Activities. They will analyse, together with these entities, the measures available to support business projects and the regulations on economic activities.
In this context, the initiative also counts on the collaboration of the Society for the Business Development of the Azores (SDEA) as the entity responsible for the implementation of some measures that may support these youngsters creating their own business projects.
