Regional Government standardises electronic information towards more efficient and transparent public administration
The Regional Director for Organisation and Public Administration stated in Angra do Heroísmo that the Interoperable Data Identification System of the Regional Public Administration Services (SIDISAPA) is already under development, contributing to "an efficient, fast and transparent public administration as a factor of growth and competitiveness."
"This project aims to interconnect the different databases containing data, such as identification and georeferencing, elements that characterise the Regional Public Administration Services," said Victor Santos on the sidelines of a visit to a RIAC office.
The interconnection of these databases will streamline the automatic updating of the general data of Public Administration services in the existing databases and, consequently, in all the electronic front offices made available by the Government to public and private entities and to citizens as well.
According to the Regional Director, the Regional Government "is aware" that the widespread use of electronic communication mechanisms and the constant search for objective and accurate information "requires a huge effort to provide citizens, either residents and non-residents, with correct and updated data on Regional Public Administration Services."
"In the context of the modernisation and restructuring of the Regional Public Administration, we need to continue ensuring the existence of a renewed public administration in terms of procedures and adapted to a context of growth and competitiveness that requires greater flexibility and adaptation of current structures," said Victor Santos.
In this regard, the Regional Director of Organisation and Public Administration ensures "the total commitment of the Government in the pursuit of a path of innovation in line with national and European guidelines."
