Paulo Sérgio Corvelo Soares was born in Angra do Heroísmo on February 8, 1978.
He graduated in Business Management and Public Administration at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the Technical University of Lisbon.
From March 2001 to November 2004, he provided technical support in the management and monitoring of community programmes at the Angra do Heroísmo City Council.
From November 2004 to November 2005, he worked in the Financial Department of the Angra do Heroísmo City Council.
From December 2005 to September 2006, he worked at the Regional Directorate for Organisation and Public Administration.
In December 2006, he was appointed Representative of the Vice-Presidency of the Government in the Axis - Public Service - Quality Strategy for the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
Since April 2006, he has been a member of the Committee for Assessment of Youth Support Applications.
In September 2006, he was appointed Project Leader of the Integrated Citizen Support Network, a position he held until February 2008.
Since March 5, 2008, he has served as President of the Agency for the Modernisation and Quality of Citizen Service, I.P.
