The Vice-Presidency of the Government, through the Society for the Business Development of the Azores (SDEA), promotes the Azores Week in the newly renovated "Mercado da Ribeira," now known as Time Out Market Lisbon.
Between October 5 and 11, Azorean certified products will be on displayed in a market dedicated to the food sector. The sales of these products showcase the best that is produced in each of the nine islands of the Region.
During the Azores Week, some restaurants featured at the Time Out Market, such as Miguel Castro e Silva, Marlene Vieira, Cozinha da Felicidade, Confraria do Sushi, Prego da Peixaria, Asian Lab e SEA ME, will include in their menu a dish that is entirely created from Azorean products.
Fresh fish, cheese and regional sausages will be core ingredients of most of these dishes, which can be tasted at the "show cooking" sessions to be presented by the market chefs throughout the week.
On the last of the week, between Thursday and Sunday, the event features the performances of Azorean artists Sax’N’Fun, Cristóvão Ferreira Duo, Sons de Bruma, João Macedo and Bia Chicoração.
