Regional products will be highlighted during the Sanjoaninas 2018 festivities on Terceira Island at another edition of the "Azorean Market." This is an initiative of the Vice-Presidency of the Government of the Azores, developed through the Society for Business Development of the Azores (SDEA) in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores (CCIA).
Currently, more than 2600 products bear the "Azores Brand" label. They will be available during the Sanjoaninas Festivities on Terceira Island, providing local consumers and tourists with a wide range of "nature certified" products.
Throughout the Sanjoaninas 2018 Festivities, which will run until July 1, the "Azorean Market" will be open every day at Rua dos Minhas Terras 19-21 in Angra do Heroísmo from 10 AM and 12 AM.
The event aims to boost the regional internal market, giving visitors the opportunity to taste and purchase food, craft and cultural products of local origin that represent what is best produced in the archipelago.
The "Azorean Market" falls within the Azores Export Plan 2018 and was created under the strategy for the promotion of regional products to consumers, both internally and externally.
