The new edition of the training course under the Azores Entrepreneurship programme will start in Ponta Delgada on February 9. Under this programme, participants will acquire a body of knowledge on the business sector that will allow them to seize the economic potential of the endogenous resources of the Azores.
This initiative will be extended to all islands of the archipelago. It is targeted at a wider audience, including unemployed individuals holding a basic education diploma (9th form), youngsters included in projects developed by the Regional Directorate for Youth in the context of creative industries, businesspeople linked to the craft industry in conjunction with the Regional Centre for Handicrafts, as well as micro and small companies.
The Azores Entrepreneurship consists of five modules, with a total workload of 60 hours.
After completing the training course, those who are interested may develop their business plan within six months and, subsequently, implement their project with personalised support over a period of 12 months.
The 2015 edition of the Azores Entrepreneurship programme is developed by the Government of the Azores, through the Society for the Business Development of the Azores (SDEA) in partnership with Cresaçor and the Regional Directorate for Employment and Vocational Training. Attendance is free of charge.
