Regional Government anticipates payments under Business Incubation, Digital SME and Export Azores vouchers
In light of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the regular activity of companies, the Regional Government, through the Vice-Presidency, has made changes to the procedure for payment requests under the Business Incubation Voucher, the Digital SME Voucher and the Azores Export Voucher in order to enable the submission of interim payment requests, thus increasing the injection of liquidity in Azorean companies.
With this change, companies will have the possibility of submitting two payment requests, one of them being interim in the form of advance payment.
In case of advance payment, companies shall receive the amount of support corresponding to the reimbursement upon presentation of the respective invoice. They are required to present, within 15 working days after the transfer of the amounts to their account, the proof of payment of the respective invoices.
The request for final payment must be submitted within a maximum period of 90 working days from the date of completion of the transaction.
The payment of support shall be made by bank transfer to the promoter's bank account indicated in the acceptance term within 60 days from the date of submission of the payment request.
For more information about this measure, interested parties should contact the Regional Directorate for Support to the Investment and Competitiveness by telephone 296 309 100 or at the email [email protected].
This new measure, which represents another financial effort of the Regional Government, will enable companies benefiting from these incentives to receive financial support in advance and make payments to companies providing the services, thereby injecting liquidity into these entities without the need to use their own financial resources.
In effect, this Government's measure oriented towards the future will increase the support for Azorean companies in investing in areas crucial to their competitiveness.
