Tender for construction of 28 houses in Terra Chã Neighbourhood on Terceira Island published today
The public tender for the construction of 28 new houses in the Terra Chã Neighbourhood in Angra do Heroísmo, promoted by the Society for the Promotion and Rehabilitation of Housing and Infrastructures (SPRHI) has already been published in the Official Gazette.
With a base price over 2.8 million Euros, the work includes the construction of 28 single-family houses and three commercial spaces as well as all housing support infrastructures.
The contract work falls within the Regional Government's strategy for the implementation of an urban modern plan with houses that will be built in accordance with the legislation in force that takes into account several factors: energy efficiency, health conditions, quality of life, green spaces, recreational areas, car parks, and a range of community social facilities.
The tender now published concerns the third stage of the second phase of the redevelopment/rehabilitation of the neighbourhood.
Overall, the redevelopment project of Terra Chã Neighbourhood will ensure the improvement of the housing conditions of more than 80 Azorean families.
