Regional Government launches public tender for intervention in Santa Cruz Graciosa Port
The Regional Secretariat for the Sea, Science and Technology, through the Regional Directorate for Fisheries, published today in the Official Gazette the opening notice of the tender for the consolidation of Santa Cruz Port on Graciosa.
With a base price of about half a million Euros, the contract work falls within the Regional Government's policy to provide the port infrastructure with better operation and safety conditions.
The work has a completion period of 240 days. It includes the repair of cavities and crevices, the partial reconstruction and reinforcement of the wall-curtain and the repaving of the quay.
With this contract work, we intend to consolidate the port structures and improve their conditions of use, with the installation of new dock accessories, the replacement of a broken bollard and the repair of the lighting network.
The solutions towards the repair of damages and the strengthening of infrastructures have been selected with the aim of maintaining the current features of Santa Cruz da Graciosa Port, which provides support to fishing activities.
