The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Forestry is promoting a training course on "Good Practices in Pineapple Production" at the premises of the Department of Agrarian Development on São Miguel.
This 20-hour course includes a 10.5 hour theoretical module and a 9.5 hour practical module; it is being attended by 13 participants.
The initiative aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to manage pineapple farms according to the specifications of the Designation of Protected Origin (DOP) for this emblematic Azorean product.
