The photographs on display include those awarded by the National Geographic Magazine in 2009 and 2010 feature the Licancabur volcano (Chile/Bolivia) and the photo titled "Flying over Bagan, Myanmar."

The exhibition consists of 20 photographs and will be open to public until October 31. It may be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Hugo Machado was born in Angra do Heroísmo. He holds a degree in Geology from the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon. Currently, he is residing in Norway, where he works as a geologist in the oil industry.
