Parishes
|
  
The Lands of Priolo, municipalities of Nordeste and Povoação, have an area of 101 km2 and 110.30 km2, respectively, totaling an area of 211.3 km2. Administratively, it is divided into 15 parishes. The ones that are part of the municipality of Nordeste are the following: Salga, Achadinha, Achada, Santana, Algarvia, Santo António Nordestinho, São Pedro Nordestinho, Lomba da Fazenda and Nordeste (the county seat that includes the parishes of Nordeste and Pedreira). The municipality of Povoação, includes the parishes of: Água Retorta, Faial da Terra, Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, Povoação (county seat), Ribeira Quente and Furnas.
The history and culture of this land is told through their heritage, diversified by all parishes.
